The procedure is generally well tolerated because anesthesia in the form of a cream or injection is applied before starting to minimize discomfort. After the treatment, slight bruising or swelling may occur, which usually disappears within a few days.
When can I return to normal activities after lip shaping?
You can return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure; however, it’s advisable to avoid intense physical exertion, hot baths, and saunas for the first 24–48 hours. It’s also best to avoid touching your lips for a few days to prevent infection.
